Keep locations and visit results traceable

Document purpose: check that the report identifies the periodic inspection and testing work rather than leaving the visit type unclear.

Make the schedule useful after you leave site

An equipment reference only helps when the customer can connect it to the right location. During evaluation, use a fictional two-floor building with a longer location name and enough entries to continue over a page. Check that the exported references and findings remain readable throughout, so the recipient can follow the record without you rebuilding a separate schedule.

Does this periodic report demonstrate an installation completion certificate?

No. The sample presents periodic inspection and testing documentation. A completion certificate, verification record or service document may have a different scope. Confirm the exact record required for your work instead of treating one sample as proof of every lighting document.

Is an equipment schedule evidence that testing has been completed?

An equipment identity or list does not by itself establish the work performed during a visit. Check how the chosen report presents current findings, dates, limitations and sign-off alongside the relevant references. The engineer remains responsible for the work and information recorded.

Can I apply my logo and company colours to the lighting report?

Confirm the available branding controls for your lighting document, app version and plan. Check longer location names and continuation pages when evaluating a style. Example branding does not mean custom logos and colours are included in every Free starter; use only marks you are entitled to display.

Does the building manager need a CertifyLIGHT subscription?

No. The engineer or in-house professional carrying out the work creates the record. A building manager or other customer can receive and keep the exported PDF without subscribing to CertifyLIGHT.
